Katlyn Harrison

Katlyn Harrison is Consultant at Summa Strategies. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree with a specialization in Communication from the University of Ottawa, and is working towards a certificate in Fundraising Management at Algonquin College. Ms. Harrison has been actively involved in the political process since accepting a position with a Member of Parliament in her hometown of Omemee, Ontario in 2006. Since then, she has worked at both the federal and provincial levels of government in a range of capacities from political assistant to grassroots activist.Katlyn has client experience in developing campaign-style communications tactics as well as the development of designed collateral to help further messages of clients. She also developed skills in social media and targeted marketing when working on the Ontario provincial election campaign.

Katlyn acquired significant communication experience during her tenure with the Department of National Defence. This experience built on the professional communications training she received at The Hague University in the Netherlands, where she gained hands-on experience in writing communications plans and other products. Katlyn remains an active volunteer and community leader through work with educational, athletic, and political associations.
